Location: Port Island
After their success at Mash Manor, the party travels with the animated suit of knight’s armor to Port Island, where they formally join the Beam Weavers Guild. They explore the Beam Weaver’s supply depot and take stock of available resources.
During downtime, they go shopping and hear more rumors about pirate activity across the Sungrove Islands.
Later, a fire breaks out at the warehouse where the animated armor had previously recovered tax records. The party rushes to the scene to investigate.
At the Sunken Skiff tavern, the party speaks to Trent Klang, the bar’s owner and a survivor of a pirate attack. Klang reveals that the pirates spoke an unintelligible language and their crews appeared uniform and indistinguishable. He seems traumatized by the event.
The group also interviews Tomi Stonerind, a shipwright and competitor of the now-deceased Dorian. She suspects foul play and shares old ship designs believed to be Dorian’s. She mentions the Timble family has taken over the shipwright company. Tomi has never met another Timble before and distrusts them.
The party continues investigating the pirates and the suspicious shipwright dealings, and prepares to dig deeper into the growing conspiracy involving the Timble family and mysterious ship activity.
